Student Activities

Academics are not the only part of your study experience. The cocurricular environment, including student activities, is very important for skill development of SCE students. We believes that the complete university experience involves both academics and student activities. Here at SCE, you can join many engineering associations. The opportunities are endless and it's all up to you to create your own experience and a lifetime of memories.

Student activity usually devided into two categories; academics and student activities. The staff is here to assist students and their organizations succeed in their endeavors. We love when students stop by and meet with us to develop a personal involvement plan for their study years. We believe that the more involved a student becomes in extracurricular activities at SCE the more successful a student will become in his/her future. Student Activities and student organizations host a lot of programs each year. These programs are great ways to meet other people, hang out with your friends, and learn through social, cultural, and educational programs.

School of Civil Engineering always provide and facilitate students with ample opportunities to enhance their technical knowledge, social and and community responsibility and soft skills and to enrich their life in the campus. ENGINEERING COMPETITIONS

One of the important aspects for engineering students is to improve their understanding on the theory and apply the knowledge learned from the classroom in real life application is through constructing small scale model. Students are given the platform to concieve, design, construct and test their models when participating engineering competition. Plenty of engineering competitions are conducted in the campus, national and international levels.

STUDENT EXCHANGE AND MOBILITY PROGRAMMES

There are various student exchcange and moility programmes available for USM students. Students have the opportunities to participate in the student exchange and mobility programme provided through International Mobility & Collaboration Centre (IMCC). Students can plan their study aborad for 1 to 2 semesters under student exchange programme or 1 to 4 weeks short term mobility programme. This is a great platform for civil engineering students to become global engineers by creating more networks and collaborations, gaining global study experience and learning diverse cultures of the world.
