There are two ways of doing consultation through USAINS Holding Sdn Bhd (UHSB);
1. Consultancy agreement
a. Agreement from Client / UHSB
b. Signed by Client & UHSB
c. Items covered in the agreement - Consultants, the scope of work, duration, fees, treatment of IP creation
2. Letter of Appointment / PO
a. Letter to be addressed to Usains Holding Sdn Bhd
b. Acceptance of appointment to be signed by USAINS Holding
c. The letter should name the consultant, scope of work, duration, and fees
The standard rates for honorarium as per the USM Bahagian Pembangunan Lestari dan Korporat are as per below;

The rates above are just a guideline and the project leader will have full discretion to decide the rates.
Upon acceptance of the LOA, a consultancy work form is required to be filled in. (form as attached). Once the dean's approval is obtained, the form can then be given to us along with the LOA/PO. We will then obtain our internal management's approval as well as the TNC R&I before opening the project account.
During the project, there as various forms for various needs. Attached are the forms. For the honorarium claims, if the leader of the project is claiming, the dean's approval is required. If the team members claim, then the project leader's approval is required. We always suggest that the consultants send in their forms at least a week before the accounts closing period as per below, to enable us to obtain the necessary approvals and pass to accounts for payment.
