The School of Civil Engineering had recently held an academic awards for outstanding students sponsored by Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn. Bhd. and Fibromat Malaysia Berhad.

The Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn. Bhd. had bestowed the PBA Academic Excellence Award in the course of Water Resources to:-

Virtual Visit by External Examiner

   External examiner visit 2

The external examiner for Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) program, Professor Chungsik Yoo visited the School of Civil Engineering from 3 to 4 June 2021. Professor Yoo is a professor from Faculty of Civil, Architectural Engineering and Landscape, Sungkyunkwan University, Korea. The visit was conducted fully online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

During this 2-day virtual visit, Professor Yoo had various online meetings with the school management team, academic staff and selected students of the School of Civil Engineering. The laboratory visit session was carried out through a recorded video. The related document and information on the academic program and Outcome Based Education were shared with Professor Yoo through digital technology.

F2F teaching for all PPKA students has been postponed to 7 December 2020

SoCE USM Nibong Tebal, 6 October 2020 - Due to increased COVID-19 pandemic outbreak cases recently, the starting date of F2F teaching for all PPKA students has been postponed to 7 December 2020 (local students) and 2 January 2021 (international students). This announcement is subject to changes made by the University from time to time.
