In the framework of the CALOHEA Erasmus+ project co-funded by the European Union, the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) representatives will participate in the first National Dissemination Meeting in Malaysia from 23rd to 24th May 2023.
The representatives from Universiti Sains Malaysia are led by Professor Dato' Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah and joined by Professor Ir. Dr. Taksiah A. Majid, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Lau Tze Liang, Ts. Dr. Mastura Azmi, Dr. Mustafasanie M. Yussof, Dr. Noorhazlinda Abd Rahman, Dr. Nuridah Sabtu and Dr. Herni Halim.
Professor Dato' Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah is the Subject Area Group - Civil Engineering coordinator. Together, the team measures and compare the achievements of learning outcomes in higher education in Asia through 3 Key Recognition Mechanisms.
The 3 Key Recognition Mechanisms are:
i. Creation and use of Regional Subject-Specific qualifications and Assessment Reference Frameworks to permit greater comparability of institutional degree programme profiles. (RM1)
ii. Instalment of the culture of student workload measurement as an integral part of curriculum design. (RM2)
iii. Implementation of authentic assessment of internationally comparable learning outcomes in degree programmes. (RM3)
