The International Symposium and Exhibition on Geoinformation (ISG) is a unique gathering place and open forum for geospatial professionals and practitioners from all disciplines to exchange experience and knowledge on Geoinformatics. ISG 2005 is the 4th of a series of international symposiums that began in 2001 with the aim of attracting leading geoinforma-tics researchers from all fields to reflect the interdisciplinary approaches of geoinformation including civil engineering, environmental sciences, computer science, geography, information science, mathematics, psychology, social sciences, etc. Themed “Geospatial Solutions for Managing the Borderless World”, ISG 2005 encourages divisive topics related to developing geospatial data solutions and technologies to facilitate various decision-making processes. It is hoped that the event will offer an unprecedented opportunity to discover the current geoinformation technology and its development and applications for managing the borderless world. ISG 2005 will include exciting technical and plenary sessions, key-note addresses followed by two days of technical sessions and in-depth workshops. The symposium is designed to meet scientific, technical and business needs of the geoinformatics community.
Take advantage of the opportunity by taking part in the outstanding event in Penang, Malaysia. We will work hard to make it a symposium of the highest quality and at the same time we will offer to network you with fellow geoinformatics professionals, renewing old acquaintances and making new ones.
