JCI-USM Joint Seminar on Practical Approaches towards Assessment, Repair and Strengthening of Crack Damaged Concrete Structures

The School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in collaboration with the Japan Concrete Institute (JCI) will be organizing a joint seminar entitled “JCI-USM Joint Seminar on Practical Approaches towards Assessment, Repair and Strengthening of Crack Damaged Concrete Structures”. 

The seminar will take place as follows:
4th – 5th August 2015
Venue: Science and Engineering Research Centre (SERC)
Engineering Campus, Universiti Sains Malaysia

The speakers for the seminar consist of experts from JCI and USM, who have vast experiences in research and consultancy in the field of concrete. The focus of the seminar will be on the aspects of Assessment, Repair and Strengthening of Crack Damaged Concrete Structures. 

The seminar is very much relevant to all parties involved in the construction industry such as Consulting Engineers, Project Managers, Civil and Structural Engineers, Supervisors, Quantity Surveyors, Maintenance Personnel, Technicians, Technical Assistants, Contractors as well as Academicians.

Twelve (12) CPD hours have been approved by BEM, while appropriate CCD point is pending the approval of CIDB. The fee for the two-day seminar is RM600. The closing date for the registration will be on 30th July 2015.
